Heche has been in a coma since August 5 and remains in “extremely critical condition.”

Emmy winner Anne Heche may be entering her final days.

A representative for the actress told outlets she is in critical condition following her car accident last week.

“Unfortunately, as a result of her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and is in a coma in critical condition,” the spokesman said in a statement. “She is not expected to survive.”

The representative continued: “It has long been her decision to donate her organs and she is being placed on life support to see if any are viable. We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery, and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses who took care of Anne at Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital.”

Heche, 53, had narcotics in her system at the time of the crash abc news reported. Heche suffered a “substantial lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns requiring surgical intervention” and has not regained consciousness since the accident.

The official statement from Heche’s reps honored her film legacy, writing, “Anne had a huge heart and touched everyone she met with her generous spirit. More than her extraordinary talent, she saw her life’s work in spreading kindness and joy—specifically, moving the needle to accept who you love. She will be remembered for her brave honesty and will be greatly missed for her light.”

Heche is slated to appear in the Lifetime movie Girl in Room 13 this fall.

“As many of you know, Anne remains in critical condition. And all of us here at Lifetime are deeply concerned for her and everyone affected,” said Amy Winter, executive VP and director of programs at Lifetime, earlier this week. “We hope her friends and family stay strong during this difficult time. You know as much as we do and we kindly ask that you refrain from inquiring about your health.”

Heche will also star in the horror thriller Full Ride opposite Dermot Mulroney, and she has directed episodes of Sam Levinson and The Weeknd’s HBO series The Idol.

The actress is a mother to 13-year-old son Atlas with her ex-partner James Tupper and 20-year-old son Homer from her marriage to Coley Laffoon.
