WILMINGTON — Two alleged safe crackers were recently indicted by a Clinton County grand jury.

Roger Tucker, 34, of Wilmington, and Justin Blackburn, 30, of Midland, were both charged Nov. 4 with alleged theft (Crime 5) and safecracking (Crime 4). Tucker was charged with two counts of alleged aggravated burglary while Blackburn was charged with two counts of alleged accessory to aggravated burglary (Crime 1).

According to the indictment, on February 7, Tucker and Blackburn broke into a residence on Columbus Street in Wilmington and had a weapon or “dangerous prescription” with them with possible intent to harm the resident.

The suspects allegedly stole $2,800, a safe and a cell phone. The indictment says the two attempted to break into the safe.

Tucker pleaded guilty to felony count 5 of breaking and entering and was sentenced to a year in prison in May. He was also sentenced in May to one year for felony 3 unlawful transportation.

• Craig Shaver, 44, of Wilmington, was charged with aggravated drug possession (Crime 2), possession of fentanyl-related compounds (Crime 5) and tampering with evidence (Crime 3).

• Sherri Isaac, 34, of Wilmington, was charged with alleged unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (Crime 5).

• Everett Bennett III, 36, of Wilmington, was charged with eight counts of alleged break and enter (Crime 5), two counts of alleged theft (Misc. 1), one count of alleged theft ( felony 5) and one count of theft alleged criminal mischief (misdemeanor 3).

• Matthew Fulton, 37, has been charged with eight counts of alleged aiding and abetting break and enter (Crime 5), two counts of aiding and abetting theft (Misc. 1), one count of aiding and abetting theft (Crime 5 ), one count of alleged complicity criminal mischief (misdemeanor 3) and one count of alleged receiving of stolen property (crime 4).

• Ciara Cain, 25, of Blanchester, has been charged with eight counts of alleged aiding and abetting break and enter (Crime 5), two counts of aiding and abetting theft (Misc. 1), one count of aiding and abetting theft (crime 5) and one count of alleged accessory to criminal mischief (misdemeanor 3).

• Tiffany Sturgill, 25, of Blanchester, was charged with eight counts of alleged aiding and abetting break and enter (Crime 5), two counts of aiding and abetting theft (misdemeanor 1), one count of aiding and abetting theft (crime 5) and one count of alleged accessory to criminal mischief (misdemeanor 3).

• Michelle Doyle, 39, of Wilmington, was charged with aggravated drug possession (Crime 5).

• Gregory Kattine, 33, of Clarksville, has been charged with felony assault (Crime 2).
