It’s (almost) already Christmas!

November is not over yet, but Christmas is already beginning. The first Christmas markets are indeed set up this weekend.

In Lyon, you can find the traditional market on Place Carnot and its 103 chalets from this Saturday November 26 until December 24. Same dates for that of the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, which doubles its number of chalets and food trucks. 28 creators and 5 restaurateurs will therefore be present around the 12-meter-high illuminated tree,

It is also the opening of the Saint-Étienne Christmas market. The traditional Ferris wheel 33 meters high will overlook the 52 chalets on the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville. Christmas tree, ephemeral ice rink, toboggan runs and giant decorations await you on Place Jean-Jaurès and Place Dorian.

Saturday and Sunday, from 2 p.m., three hours of free shows are on offer. Fantastic machinery, wacky characters, dreamlike and musical wanderings will put you in the Christmas spirit.
