The daughter of the late Porridge actor Richard Beckinsale wore a black puffball dress – apparently made from rubbish bags – to a Christmas party with friends in Puglia, Italy.

In the snaps shared to Instagram on Tuesday, the Pearl Harbor actress, 49, was accompanied by her cat Clive, who was walking her on a leash, and was dressed more appropriately in a tuxedo.

Kate says her outfit resembles a planter bag and jokes, “I was able to grow eight lettuce and a zucchini in my dress on the way to lunch.”

She styled her glossy brunette tresses back into an updo and fixed it with a black headpiece while wearing sunglasses.

Kate gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of black platform heels and opted for polka dot tights to complete her look.

And it’s not the first time Kate has shown her affection for her beloved cat, as she previously shared a video of her cleaning her feline friend.

Last Friday, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself and her cat Clive boarding a private jet.

The actress looked sensational in her cat-print pajamas and used a hot towel to clean her feline friend, who appeared to be wearing a green wool jumper.

She looked glamorous with a full coverage makeup palette while styling her brunette tresses in a high ponytail for the flight.
