Police investigating the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students say they’ve sifted through more than 1,000 tips, examined 103 pieces of evidence, taken 4,000 photos, and interviewed more than 150 people. With the killer of Madison Mogen, 21; Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20, still free, police said campus security will be heavy when students return next week from Thanksgiving break.
