A 29-year-old woman has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and dangerous driving causing death, in connection with a possible road-rage incident in Laval that left one man dead last week.

Alexandra Gagné-Faucher is also charged with failing to stop, identify herself, and failing to render assistance to the victim – 53-year-old Stéphane Taillon.

The woman was arrested Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. in Anjou by Montreal police, and her car located and seized earlier.

The incident happened just before 8 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, on the service road of Highway 15 North, near du Souvenir.

Laval police had been searching for the woman, who they said was driving a 2007 to 2010 grey Hyundai Accent that fled the scene.
